i have fitted x2 60wat bulbs instead of 40 wat and blown the fuse.i cant find the fuse box to replace fuse. this is on a 60 cm curved glass stainless hood from BandQ. serial no is HDG60SS. cAN ANYONE HELP PLEASE !!

Although the bulbs are too big wattage wise it wouldn't blow the fuse.I suspect the fuse blew when the old bulb failed or you have done something drastically wrong when fitting new bulbs.If its been installed correctly somewhere there should be a 3A fuse.this will be in a switched spur outlet on the wall or it will be fitted with a standard plug with a 3A fuse in there.look on top of units around extracter and can sometimes be hidden inside chimney flues!

What makes you think you have blown a fuse - I would suspect a melted 12v transformer - but I'm only guessing that the lamps are low voltage.

The new lamps demanded 120W instead of 80W a 50% increase and likely more than the transformer could stand.

I would expect any fusing for the cooker hood to be external.
