not sure why you are asking if it is DIFFICULT TO REPLACE THE HEAD GASKET , I would think that if this thing is smoking it is possibly worn piston rings or you have an external leak, I would not attempt either of these fixes yourself without the proper manuals ,tools and knowledge.
