I have the Veritas 8+ RKP alarm system, the tamper light is on, the control box won't do anything. What can i do, if i try to get the control panel of the alarm activates. I have tried ringing to company who installed it but they want over £100 pounds to reset it, they are basically holding me to ransom!!! I am an engineer, i realise i need a code does anyone know it or know how i go about getting hold of it!!!!

if you have opened the control panel check all the fuses no loose wires check the sensors are fine and lids on panels are fully tightend check the outside box by the way how old is the alarm ?

If you are an engineer Mike why are you asking how to do this job. Do we have the engineers code,
Mike every company in the country has a different engineering code, you dont mention what company installed it, So shall we take it in turns to guess.
