new windscreen wiper motor?

Hi
I left my windscreen wipers on before the snow. Started my car to day and the windscreen was covered in snow. Smelled burning. think this was the wiper motor burning out. Is this an easy job to repair? Vauxhall Vectra. Please help. I am a dumb brunette!
