gsxr air filters?

how much work is involved to fit individual air filters to a 1991 gsxr 750

Set aside about half a day to do a proper job, I would recommend fitting a dynojet stage three kit to the carbs as well assuming yours is not a fuel injected model.
Use K&N genuine filters and not the cheap copies from the eastern countries.
Dynojet kits are easy to fit if you are mechanically minded if not get a friend that is. The instruction supplied with the dynojet kits are spot on.

if its just a standard air filter or race filter it should be a big flat ended oval shape filter,just undo the riders seat undo the two front tank bolts lift the front of the tank up and there is the airbox undo the four cross headed screws on the air filter top cover and lift the cover off then lift the old filter element out and put in your new one.its that easy.if ypour putting four single power fiters on you will need to remove the whole airbox but i wouldnt reccomend fitting four seperate filters as the flow of air requires alot of rejetting to the carbs.
