The central locking works from the button in the van but the key remote has stopped working.I have changed the batteries and the light is on on the key.I have also followed the instructions to press the cl button at the same time as the key lock button but this doesnt work either.Any ideas??

Have you tried to reset the system?
Sit in the car and press the lock switch down for 5 seconds 1. a light might flash on the dash and that's it reset.
2.on mine it locked and then unlocked and that was reset.
