i opened my ps2 to cln da lens.i put it back again ,one screw wasnt gettin in so i forced it in , then the screw managed to break the silver ribbon/wire which is for the reset and disk openin button wat shall i do ?????, the disk tray isnt openin i need to kno fast

hi. same thing happened to me. i still havent fixed the ribbon(mine didnt break, it just came off). you have to take off the top and then take off the little black plastic thing witha yellow sticker that says Caution do not stare at lens or somehing like that. Then you have to realign the disc tray and tada, your halfway done. Sorry about the other half... Ill try to post when i figure it out.
