I have moved to a house that has a tricity bendix (strata) slip in electric cooker, I think the model number might be csie317.
I am unable to use my bottom oven as it is constantly too hot, even on its lowest setting of 100 it burns anything within a matter of minutes. Other people have said to me it sounds like the thermostat has gone, I wouldnt know where to start in getting this fixed, The top oven and the hob all work brilliantly.

does sound like faulty main oven thermostat.average around £80 fitted but ask for a price before calling someone in to do it
