central heating,won't work, help!?

lpg combi boiler,vaillant,no markings or model number.
guessing about 10 or more years old. timer working fine,hot water working fine, but no ignition for central heating,have tried everything to no avail,just won't start.can anyone help. thanks

i would look at the diverter valve then the pcb both expensive diverter horrible to replace in most combis especially 10 yr old

timer may be faulty, not sending signal to fire up, don't assume cos it lights up that it's sending power out. hard to tell without investigation though.
