my tumble dryer is not turning but the power is going in to it but its sounds like if its wanting to go?

take the lid off and check the belt is around the drum.if the belt is around the drum then it is most likely to be the motor start capacitor which is mounted to the side of the motor that has gone wrong and will need replacing.
