if you have ice on the bottom of the freezer section, then it's the evaporator drain hole in the freezer blocked up.
the water created in the defrosting process isn't draining away, but coming into your freezer and forming ice.
to clear this problem, remove the back panel in the freezer to reveal the evaporator compartment. at the bottom you'll see an ice build up. you'll need to clear this ice and make sure the drain hole is clear. you can do this by pouring hot water down the drain hole. once water flows freely down the drain hole, then your problem has gone. of course, if you don't have ice on the bottom of the freezer section, then the water is coming from elsewhere in the appliance, which will need further investigation.
