my phone says TAM FULL - what does this mean and how do i sort it

The term TAM means "Telephone Answer Machine", to which if it says "TAM FULL" the message machine on your phone is full. (its separate to bt's 1571)
In order to clear all the messages, press the "ok" button, then the up arrow, so it says "answer machine", then "ok" again.
You will then here all your messages, at the end press the down arrow until it says delete, and do so.
