pilot light out?

hi we had a powercut for several hours and now i have no heat or hot water..i think pilot light has gone out. the model is a british gas celsia 24le...have no man about the house and am scared an engineer will charge me afortune just to light it....i would be very grateful for any advice

Thanks after trying for ages, taking the covers off, bending my neck around and searching and searching on the internet your answer just sorted me out!

turn the thermostat right down to 0 for a few seconds then back up again. press the button on the underside of the boiler, it's through a small round hole towards the right at the front, it will look like a small red x. if that doesn't re-set it then best to call someone out.
