Berlingo van?

Berlingo van
The problem: Stationary with ignition on….no wipers, no heater, no lights.

Start engine: Still not working. [Also wash/wipe does not work which may be iced even though bottle contains antifreeze for screen wash.]

Drive off and within 100yds lights on, heater on, Wipers on.
Pull up and leave engine running they all go off well lights he's re-checking again Weird!!!!!!!
any ideas !!!!
Yes I know its a van but thought I'd cover both van and cars for quicker reply, if any.
Many thanks

Does anyone know where the fuse is situated for Wash/wipe on a 1999 Berlingo Van?

MY THANKS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO BOTH OF YOU.

on some vehicles, certain things don't work until the alternator charge is detected above a certain level. it could be that when engine is ticking over, the voltage probably drops below that level(whatever that may be, i'm not sure about) & these items switch off again. check the alternator output at tickover & when you rev it up. it should be around 14.5 volt.

BOB,
your washers will be the fuse. Citroens pop a fuse sometimes when its really cold.
Ok so have you checked your fan belt is it tight and is in good condition, could be slipping?
