they also have problems with the circuit tracks on the back of the speedo heads and also the li9ve feed wire (red) up to the clocks which causes a loss of spark .more thatn likely to be the cdi though they are forever going wrong buy one from electrex there on the web.it just plugs in and its located behind the inner legshield but you will need the number of your old box to make sure you get the right one.
