I have just had mine to the garage for the same. I have been told the water pump had gone and maybe the head gasket. A lot of money!ouchh!

air lock!. or make sure the expansion bottle is filled to the maximum mark if coolant is to low on these, the heater wont get warm. is the engine getting up to tempreture? you could also try partially blocking the radiator to help it warm up, with some cardboard or similar in front of it. but keep an eye on the temp gauge & take it out again if it gets a bit to warm
