hi i got a jinlin shnoot brut i no i never heard of it to but i got a new battery and i hold on the brake and push the starter button and nothing happens no clicking no nothing realy need help iv tryed everything i dont have a rear brake lever on it as iv just resprayed and it was broke so i took it off but could this be the reason ???

Has it been stored inside or out?

If inside then
Fresh fuel and a carb strip
New Plug
NewAir filter
Its a two stroke and as it mixes itself then you will probabaly need to bleed the pump to ensure oil is getting through correctly
This should get engine running ok then its a case of
Brakes- make sure they are free
Lights etc etc
Buy a hayes manual, cheaper second hand on ebay and it will give you details of this if you feel a little unsure. Pretty simple jobs if you take your time and have the manual. Save you a bomb from a bike shop as well

hi aaron,my wife has a jinlun but they are known for the switch to give on the handle bar's,very easy fix but a bit of a pain as you have to keep repair,inside the switch (removed from handle bar's) look toward's start button & you will see the top of the switch lift's,it will need fixing back down,then use a small cable tie to hold it down,this what i did to overcome the problem altogether after third repair, if you ring jinlun they are based in burton upon trent & somewhere south they do know about this problem & do refer how to repair, hope this help's (look out for the small ballbearing & spring)

Does it kick over?
Sounds as though the switch in the brake lever has got paint on it and now it does not make contact. strip it down and have a look. Did you spray near the handlebars? Where did you spray your paint?
