You can purchase spare part elements for Dualit toasters. Make sure you know which are not working as the end ones are different to the middle ones because they only need to toast one side. Make sure you then slot them in the correct places - they are engraved with "centre" or "end".

i see i had the same problem..to fix this is quite simple just turn your toast after one side is done.and cook the other side.
