I got no spark to my plugs?

I have a 1985 Mercedes 500 SEC. The engine turns over but I get no spark to my plugs. I replaced the coil but it didn't help. The cap and the rotor are in good shape. I started it one day, is was running fine, Iwas warming it up and it just died and has start since. Can anyone help me ?

Edward, if you put a test lamp to the coil (low tension) that goes to the distributor then crank the engine, the lamp should flash intermittently, as if make and break. If it is constant then I suspect it is the electronic ignition module that is at fault. http://www.vehicle-electrics-online.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=&product_id=9301&category_id=540&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=35.
