recently my computer has become very slow when browsing the net also now and again it just closes when im in the middle of something and when i eventually get it running again it opens with a different web page called theprizeday.com or gamezone.com

Clear everything from the startup list
Run Spybot Search & Destroy (free) or a similar programme

If it's still slow restore to an earlier date

Use the Task Manager (right click taskbar) to see what's happening.
