It was the bearings! Sorry I forgot i had this open.

I had a simmilar problem with a rover, due to the high pitch noise i automatically thought that it was a simple problem with the brake pads sticking in the callipers, i cleaned & greased them up & made sure they were free, but as soon as i tried the vehicle on the road it was still the same & never cured the problem, so the only other thing i thought it could be was the wheel bearing. I replaced the wheel bearing & it cured the problem, so i was quite surprised as i realy thought it was a typical brake noise but turned out to be the wheel bearing.

Are the brake pads sticking in the calipers, they should move freely. If they are a bit tight the calipers may need cleanig where the pads slide or the ends of the pdas filing down a bit.
