Hi Helen, I think your gonna have to rewind untill the problem started, The E prom chip dosent like mains spikes, and does some really odd things, like making the strobe flash when the battery is knackered.
Did you have a power cut, mains tripped out, something must have occured,
How old is the panel by the way.
