fiat punto mark 1 1999 overheating?

MY FIAT PUNTO 1999 IS OVER HEATING. i HAVE REMOVED THE THERMOSTAT BUT IT CONTNUES. i CAN NOT HEAR ANY NOISES SO i AM WONDERING IF IT COULD BE THE WATER PUMP AS THEY NORMALLY MAKE A NOISE WHERN THEY GO

It can often be the radiator. Probably needs a new one. The plastic cracks. Pressue is reduced, the boiling point falls, you lose water. Next stage your head gasket fails and you've then got an expensive job on your hands.
