Hi, My name is Troy, I live in Ohio, U.S.A. and I own an eBay Store named “The Breadmaker Guru”. I carry kneading blades and owner’s manuals for just about every make and model of breadmaker ever made, even some replacement drive belts, pan seals and bread pans. I accept Major Credit and Debit cards, PayPal, Money Orders and Cashier’s Checks…even payments from Canada and beyond. If you’re interested, just go to the newest of eBay sites called “eBay Express”, created especially for those who would rather not sign up with Paypal. That website is: www.express.ebay.com. When you get there, simply go to the site search bar and type in your model number exactly as it is found on your machine. If you cannot locate your item from there, then contact me personally at troywiler@gmail.com. I’ll be glad to assist you, most times within 24 hours. Thank you.

P.S. With each owner’s manual purchase, you receive over 1000 extra bread machine recipes, most of which are alphabetized, tips on how to create the perfect batch of bread every time no matter what recipe is used, an ingredient substitution chart, and the results of a laboratory study documenting the bread machine process, from start to finish. As you can see, you get a lot more than you might expect.

It's easy to get into. There are 4 phillips head screws in the rubber seats at the bottom. After removing these the metal pan at the bottom peels right off. Finding a new belt is the big problem.

Sue- I just inherited or was given my mother-in-laws CBM250 magic Chef bread maker. I think it was made in 9/97 (almost 9 years old). I made bread in it on Sunday night and heard this horrible grinding noise. Under the bread maker was small pieces of black something. I think it was a shredded belt like you have described. It didn't smell of burning rubber. It seems as though the bread did cook. Of course I didn't have bread flour so it didn't turn out as well as it should have. There is no way to get into the machine. There are no repair instructions or even an address, phone number of anything for magic chef in the owners manual. I have searched the web for Magic Chef as well and have come up with nothing. Being that the item is almost 10 years old, it probably isn't worth fixing. So to spare myself any fire/smoke in my kitchen it will probably get tossed in file 13. Have you used yours a lot. This one hasn't been used in over 7 years at least.
