defroster switch is stuck?

I have a 2007 Ford Fiesta Freedom, This morning I pressed the windscreen defroster switch & it has stuck in the on position, the only way I can switch it off is to turn the engine off & then restart the engine, but the switch is still stuck. Any Help would be appreciated. Thank You

Should still be under warranty shouldn't it? Take it back to Ford and get it fixed free of charge.
