We have an R reg Mondeo and is due for MOT soon,but we have noticed that the car feels as though it pulls to the right on breaking which is slight but nevertheless noticeable.
Could anyone tell me if the brake shoes/discs or callipers need changing please.

If it pulls to the right you should check the caliper on the nearside,it may be seized,look to the nearside as the problem,I would strip and clean both sides using copperslip grease and be done with the job,an afternoons work will sort it and you won't have to do all the wheels off thing next day.

First swap your front wheels around. and see if the vehicle still pulls in the same direction. If the car pulls in the other direction then you have a faulty tyre.
