How do i fix wipers on a citroen C3?

i'm having a problem with my Citroen C3 (52reg). The Windscreen wipers have stopped working. I have tried changing the fuse but they're still not working. We heard a strange noise yesterday so are wondering if the motor has burnt out. Any advice appreciated.

Mine went too. Got a replacement motor from a nearby breakers yard for 25 quid. Easy to replace, takes about an hour. Need to remove plastic scuttle panel below windscreen.
