Ideally require year of vehicle to identify transmission model. Some of these vehicles have an automatically controlled manual gearbox (trouble!!!) some have a conventional automatic but depending on the year, there may be a choice. The flashing sport light simply means that the electronics have detected a fault in the system which has put the transmission into its limp-home mode. It may be necessary to carry out a diagnostic check to ascertain the nature of what the system thinks is wrong with itself.
