how to repair a punture on a suzuki 1500 as there is no centre stand on it

personally if that came into my shop i would just get a trolley jack and pop it under the lower frame rail put a bit of cloth between the jack and the frame near the back and jack it there with it still on the stand its the safest way by far ,then i would either fit a new tyre, replace the inner tube if it has spoked wheels or put a mushroom plug in it from the inside!any plug that goes in from the outside is strictly a get you home thing and NOT permanent and only used in emergencys

you dont need the bike in the air to fix a puncture, if its tubless tyre, just keep pumping up the wheel, put a little water and washing up liquid in a bottel , pour it over the tyre you will see the air bubbels comming were the puncture is , if you have a (tubeless )repair kit , you can do were it is , and you dont need the bike on center stand for this job. once you have found the puncture you can move the bike a little so that the pucture is on the top of the wheel off the ground , so you can work on it ,

you need to get a paddock stand to get the wheel off. Check out MCN.
