Faulty GHD's?

Hi

I have dropped my GHD's today and they wont work, I have bought a replacement power cable and to no avail anyone any ideas??
Amanda, January 2010
I think the cable to my ghd is faulty and there is a weak connection with the plug - can this be fixed?

If you dropped them on a hard surface one or both of the ceramic heating plates could be fractured causing an open circuit in the "POWER" trace.

Any damaged plates will need to be replaced.

WARNING: The POWER trace carries mains voltage. Fault-finding inside the ghd's is not a job for a novice.
