I have a dishwasher that is going through the motions, but it doesn't fill up with water. People have suggested tipping to the side or other things. Can some one give me simple instruction on how I may rectify this?

The process of the machiene is such. The power is turned on then the inlet fill solinoid valve recieves an open signal. It duly opens and fills to a level then closes and the dishes gets washed. If the solinoid valve does not get a signal then it does not open. If the solinoid valve is faulty then it does not open. If the in-line fine filter is blocked or water feed blocked or pipe kinked then it will not fill. Check these first then if OK you way need a new solinoid valve
