Bought new in Sept 2006 we have nothing but problems since. The first year the thermostat for the top oven went and the inner door shattered, then again for the main over both repaired under warranty. Took out insurance, two more visits for shattered glass and thermostat. Main oven glass has now shattered again. Insurance people say they will no longer repair and have suggested we buy the same model as a replacement at over £1000 - cheek. I agree we should go to Watchdog. Smeg appear to be pretty useless.

as long as you have invoices for the amount of repairs and the constant failure I would take the whole thing through small claims court.they will then have to deal with the issue asap or appear in court to explain
