Fixing a 1998 Ford Ka Heater?

Having repaired the heater fan on my daughters 1998 Ford Ka by replacing the resistor I now find that there is no heat coming out of the heater. Can anybody give me some idea of what possibly is wrong. The car does not overheat and as far as I can tell the hoses from the engine to the back of the bulkhead are getting warm.

usual favourite is the heater valve on the bulkhead. To test it you need a noid light or a sidelight bulb holder which fits into the heater valve connector. When you select hot on the dash i think the light illuminates permanently, midway it pulses on and off and cold it stays off(or could it be the other way round for hot and cold?)
If that checks out ok an no heat is getting passed the valve to the matrix then chances are the valve is snookered as they are known for it

the electric heater control which fit in between the heater matrix in the car and where the pipes fit on the bulkhead is probably seized not allowing the flow of hot water through the matrix in the car. cure replace heater control.
