had the same pro had to put in new motor :(
u can get to it from taking out the plastic grill on passenger side

no hum fromthe motor, replaced the fuse as this had blown, but think it affected the motor as well

can you hear the hum from the pump when you try the washers.if you can pull pipe off one washer jet and blow down the pipe hard ,just done this on a friends vauxhall ,this cleared the pump.flushed out washer bottle with a hose.
