egr valve problem on zafira A 2000 1.8 16v?

does anyone know if its posible to run my car its a zafira A on a V plate, x18xe1 engine without an egr valve as my one keeps playing up

It will run but will not pass the emission test when its mot time!

yes! you can blank the egr valve off.
