my moped is forever cutting out on me when its wet and wont start again it is becomming very frustrating

I have this same problem! I rode my v clic in the rain and through a big puddle last night then it cut out, it still wont stat today, ive taken the spark plug out and cleaned it, put it back in but its still not ticking over. I need help!

tape up plug lead and cap with elecrical insulating tape i had the same problem but no more

change the ht cap ,they fit as rubbish metal one from new as its actaully a chinese bike badged up as a peugeot put an ngk ht cap on it they are much better you need an ngk LD05F ht cap.also i would reccomend getting the valve clearances checked as the exhaust valve clearances get tight on these and cause running problems.its a shame peugeot put their name to these as they are a chinese bike saying that the speedfights are made in china now too !
