I have a steam generator iron kenwood kbs 11b. There doesn't seem to be anyone whos actually answered any technical queries asked about this product of which there appear to be many.
On mine the yellow/orange circular standby lights stay on on the base unit when the iron is switched on only. The blue backlit LED comes on for a brief second the goes out. No red light comes on on the iron itself and no heat is generated. That's it!!
btw - I don't have the paperwork and as its a 2008 model I presume its out of warrantee anyway and on their w/site there's no reference to the product with Kenwood at all!!
Any ideas please?!

Hi I have the same iron, and it trips my electrics every time i turn it on, and the water tank is loose and keeps popping out. Cant get anyone to help from Kenwood. Nightmare, it is also the 2008 model

i was reading your query and i have the exact same problem with my iron too! and the exact same problem trying to get a reply.. my only theory is they dont even know them selves and best avoid buying another kenwood product cos after sales help is a no go as far as kenwood is concerned..im afraid the only answer is bin it!!!! and avoid kenwood like the plague. try another brand.
