daf cf engine warning?

when im driving along the computer reads out engine warning and my speed drops to 40mph, when i try to speed up it wont let me rev up. should have mentioned this happens going uphill and that the warning doesn't stay on long enough for daf mechanics to see it. any help would be great as it is really getting on my nerves!!!!

Hi guys! I’ ve repaired my engine warnings,repaired injections ,set on net fuel pressure control valve, also put on new fuel pump !My indicator mil is still stayed on and my car had lost the power after repairing there are no warnings but the power is still lost . What shall I do ? What do you think? Electrics say thay it is my nox sensor or the problem is in my accelerator filter(

Daf 55 220 red engine light comes on a intermitent basis loss of power.Recent fault code was a new fuel pump needed replaced still having a problem same code displayed?

read all your reports on rev faults, my 04 plate acts the same, had new excelerator sensor fitted. didn't work,daf cant really help me anymore,saying comp may not even find a fault.sounds like it could be any number of things. ta for listening, any info would be most welcome

on a DAF CF75 starts engine warning light then the rotation goes down from 2000 to 1500 then stops.When open injectors looks like there is air in instalation, after getting the air out starts agaIN , 800 M and then stops.Whats the problem?

pto warning 2 is over reving the pto pump so it throws it out.keep to max 1500 revs or use cruise stick to find the pto limit.

hi welcome to daf.mine a 57 plate had warning light on since new.dealer said same thing lorry tells you its got a fault but there computor cant find it.Find an idepentent garage that works on daf and you may get better luck,if thay use a differant system to check for faults.

sounds like the same as mine, it has a weak injector if you turn it off do you have trouble starting it back up? the engine warnig comes up and puts the lorry in safe mode thats why it will not rev high... it's a nightmere i had it happen for two weeks and no body could help me....... was it the wiring, the breaks, the imobilisor,the driver, the fuel, no it was the injector! hope you get it sorted!

sounds like a low fuel pressure problem,only comes on intermitantly or possibily a crankshaft sensor

have you changed the fuel filters recently there is sum bad fuel going about the now it has bio fuel mixed in with the derv . your fuel filter could be causing the problem a cheap way of finding out if its fuel related our an engine problem.

its a yellow warning, on an 03 plate no ad blue. daf tried to read the fault but it came up with nothing! saying the truck didnt store the fault, they said i would be better waiting untill something breaks but its really getting on my nerves not to mention dangerous doing 30mph on a motorway. thanks for the response!!

Yellow or red engine warning light? also need to know the year of the truck. Does it use ad blue? possible fault on the system that causes an engine de rate to protect itself. Faults can re set when ignition is turned off but are stored in the ecu. A diagnostic computer can read stored fault codes even if they arent displayed on the dip unit (dash panel)
