How can I fix my 1960 VW Beetle?

Bettle is listing badly to one side ( right rear) she's a rhd, and there is a nasty rumble when I drive her, which increaeses with acceleration....Help!

If it is bad enough to cause a noise when driven I think you should not drive until you have fixed it. It sounds to me as if the right, rear torsion bar has broken, (the rear spring).

Sorry it is not good news, but it is at least repairable with fairly ordinary tools, (and the advice of a Haynes book or the like).

Good luck
