Ideal,Classic LXRS boiler?

Hi,about 2 days ago I noticed the heating was'nt on I went and had a look at the boiler and the pilot was'nt lit.I followed the instructions and re-lit the pilot everything was back to normal,I got in from work last night and the same happened again I done the same the pilot was lighting but not staying on after losing patience I left it aloane.Went back and tried again but now there not even a pilot flame just sparking but no flame lighting.Any help would be much appreciated I know someone reliable to come and have a look but not until Tuesday :(

its a job for an engineer, he will test the thermocouple, its most likely that which has burnt out, maybe get the right replacement part ready for his visit to save time, get the gas councill number off the data plate on your boiler to help a boiler spares merchant identify what you need or take as much boiler detail as you can to them, they often want to know the make of gas valve too. a plumbers merchant will give you a universal thermocouple and they dont fit all the ideal boilers
