The spring fastener on the door handle has stopped working and so the door does not close shut. Is there an easy fix for this problem? Can I fit a new spring mechanism or will it need a new door fitting?

I have the same problem, It isn't the spring that has gone but the little plastic part that holds it in place, which is part of the outer trim on the door. I'm trying to locate a new door or outer trim but with no luck. You can see where the spring pushes against but you do need to strip the door down to check. Hope this helps and if you find a door let me know!
