I have a bult in gas oven and when my oven is not in use the ignition is still sparking will only stop when I turn the electic off, but as soon as I turn the electric back on the ignition starts sparking again. what can I do to correct this problem

this was probably caused by wet getting into the switch under the knob ... maybe when cleaning or something boiled over?
try a hairdryer to dry it out
