Pilot works on test, installed new fan as thought it was the original problem. Found red button, but appears very loose, pushing it makes no difference. Boiler cold, noticing small drops from one side of cast iron casting...not present before. Any suggestions...

does pilot works on test mean it goes out when you release the grey button? if its a newly installed thermocouple it may not be in the flame correctly, if an old thermocouple, try a new one, after this you have to check the gas valve, the damp should stop when the boiler gets hot again
