I have just bought a 2nd hand N reg Citroen Zantia 1.8i but can anyone tell me if the suspension would need doing if the car is very bouncy on the normal setting or if I can change the setting of the height to compensate for the bouncyness?? also would the car have hydraulic suspension?? hope someone can help with this as would appreciate it

on a citroen xantia, hard or bouncy suspension usually means that it needs new suspension spheres. the nitrogen has leaked out of them ( which provides the soft cushion spring effect) & it has been replaced by the lhm fluid ( which controls the height & control)& because fluid can't be compressed you end up with hard suspension.
