how do i remove and replace the heater matrix for a 1991 clio it only blows out cold air and i have replaced the thermostate already

I would make sure it's not air locked first,they don't usually fail,take the pipes off and flush it with water,if water comes out of lower pipe and it's not leaking into the cab it would probably be air.
