battery light, ford transit connect, 2004?

hi i've had an recon alternator fitted to my van, i've checked the battery and alternator its giving out the right amount of amps/volts, but my battery light is still coming on could you please help with this problem thanks.

ive also had it and was the problem,the wires seem very small and not very manly and was corroded in a small split

have you checked the wiring at the alternator for broken wires i had same problem on transit and thats what was wrong hope that helps.
