Hi, I placed a scredriver over the RST pins (Has Reset written on 9448+ not RST) and then engaged power and it worked was able to easily programme alarm.

Just one other question, prior to this the bellbox outside was sparking a bright light behind the box every 5 seconds or so and making a clicking nose I shut down the alarm. But now that the alarm works it only goes off internally any idea what the problem with outside bellbox is? Thanks

Thanks for the advice - in the meantime the strobe is now working (lights up at night) but no sound. But I have managed to locate a novagard box.

well i think you need a new bell box get it for your local alarm shop you might aswell get a texecom odyssey good bell boxes and very easy to install

i also reccomend novagard but i dont think they sell at all alarm shops
