can I repair a snapped bolt on a wheel hub?

I snapped the wheel bolt on my Kia caren and I was wondering if I could replace the bolt or did I have to replace the whole hub

it is possible to remove a snapped bolt but can be difficult.if its not possible to use some form of grips to lock on to the remaining stud then a drill will be needed. center punch the center of the stud and drill a pilot hole.( you then have to use a stud extractor,a device that screws into the hole anti clockwise.)you have to redrill the pilot larger to suit the size of extractor you need.you can get extractors from machine mart or similar.this is something ive done many times and i have the tools,if i were you i would take a trip to the scrapyard for a good used drum.they can be easy to change.

they will normally knock out, & knock back in, with a hammer
