Worn Gilera Vx Engine mount?

Hi, I've got a Gilera runner vx 53 plate. Its MOT run out so I went to take it for an MOT and it failed because the engine mounts are worn. They said they can fix it for £120, should I pay 120 for them to do it or attempt it myself?
I'm currently doing a vehicle mechanics course so I have a little experience with vehicles. However I've never worked on a motocycle, I've got the haynes manual for my bike.

Any advice/tips would be appreiciated, Thanks.

i have done lots of them the dna use the same system as does the x9 125,they are basically supported by long tubular sleeves and top hat shaped sleeved nylon bushes, its pretty easy just undo the mounts push the old parts out and refit your new ones they will need greasing up i would use waterproof grease is i were you or it will emulisify and dry up use marine grease, the parts aaare not thet dear i reckon they are about 50/60 pounds for all of them.you will need new nylon bushes and steel sleeves as the sleeves rust and the bushes wear out.
