inspect the heater on a beko drvs 62 w?

hi
i need to get to the heater to check if its broken but i cant get the top off easily, have i really got to take the whole back off to do it?there seems to be 2 pretty ineccesible screws towards the front of the top from the inside. or can i pull the instrument panel off from the front and get to them that way? i presume the heater is near the top because i cant see anything by looking through the rear heat vent opening at the bottom.
by the way, when the dryer is used the back panel gets hot but the inside of the drum does not. any ideas would be gratefully recieved.
thanks

my mother in law kept it in her garage but said it would not heat up properly recently, now she has brought a new one and given me this one to do up and sale, and guess what, its sat in the cold in my garage, maybe i ought to bring it inside to try it although it must be a pretty poor heater if that is the reason.

If its outside in a cold area they will not heat up and dry correctly.they like warm rooms to work best I find

remove the big shaped bit of metal on the back panel to get acces to the heater.if it gets hot then it is working in theory?.check vent hose for blockages out through the wall grill if fitted
